Once in a while, I look at snow and it suddenly hits me how strange it is that a precise combination of weather conditions causes this shower of white ice crystals to float down from the sky—how bizarre it is to have huge piles of it crowding up roads and parking lots. I wonder what life would be like if we always saw our surroundings as though for the first time.
